The Private Sector Workers Trade Union (PSWTU) was founded in 2013 against the backdrop of aspiring to improve the lives of workers in the most vulnerable sectors of our economy.
Our Union
Our objective is to advance and defend the interest of the workers in respect of all matters of mutual interest, unfair labour practises, and all forms of exploitation in order to improve the standard of living of workers.
From our inception, PSWTU has regarded itself as a progressive, transformative, empowering, and principled trade union with a sole purpose of prioritising workers needs and interest by making a substantial contribution to change both the working and living conditions of our members.

PSWTU has resolved to grow its membership base by focusing on these most neglected and vulnerable sectors that has most challenges faced by workers.
